Sad Eye infection ?

My Fox terrier has developed redness and swelling in the eyes, there seems to be a slight squint too. All this with in a span of 2 days. Is this something serious?

Dog eye problems are usually nothing too serious but there's always a possibility of something more, so for starters id just give your local vet a call an see what they say.

Other than that, has your dogs eye got any discharge at all, clear or otherwise? and what age is your dog?

Infections and viruses can often be brought on by ticks as well. Has he/she had any ticks or parasites that you know of?

I'm sure its nothing much but definitely call you vet and check what they say.
