Default Anyone know of a natural flea treatment

I prefer to use natural products rather than strong chemicals for myself and family, so wondered if I can use aromatherapy oils on the dog to prevent fleas, I was thinking of citronella oil, but not sure if this would be ok on her skin/quantities/dilution etc. Anyone use 'nice' treatments?

Some people say a very small amount of garlic is good as a flea treatment. There are garlic based products on the market which are used as a flea preventative. Have a look on google as i can't remember off the top of my head.

By adding Garlic to your dog's meals will assist you to continue to keep them free from fleas and other insects, as will as adding Sulphur with their diet on a once per week schedule. You may also attempt giving your dog Black Walnut Hulls which come in capsule form at numerous nutrition store that will repel not just fleas but additionally, ticks and mosquitoes. Understand that none of the remedies works immediately and may possibly take about four to six weeks before they work effectively. Good luck.

Try using a neem based shampoo. Also, lavender oil added to the bath water would provide your dog relief from the flea bites.
