Hi My name is Lisa & i need sum advice bout my dog & toilet training.
He is 7mths old & is a cross breed of doberman & french bull mastiff, We have had him since he was 3mths old, he came from a family which his dad was the doberman & his mum was the french bull mastiff, he was the runt of the litter, the size of the litter was 8, & the dogs rules the house there was no rules at all, they chewed all the owners furniture and used the house as a toilet. When we had him we started him of on the puppy pads, which worked for a while but then he started weeing where ever, so we then tryed the training spray which you spray in the areas u want him to use and go frm there, but this didnt work. We tryed the shouting at him and putting him out the back wen he uses the house as his toilet but that to hasnt helped then we tryed ignoring him wen he does his buisness indoors and praising him wen he did it outside(which is rare). But wot we have nw found is that he goes in the house & then goes to the bk door to go out, so we feel he nw finks that he is supoose to go in the house and then ask to go out the back. Please can u help as he has nw started to wee on the stir carpet & also in front of us, we cud be cleaning up one lot of wee & he will be doing another lots infront of us please try & help thank you lisa |

The problem is that you have been training him to go inside the house by using puppy pads and sprays. Now he is going in the house as you have asked (albeit not in the areas you'd like) and you are telling him off for doing so!
He's confused ![]() Take him outside every hour without fail, use a lead, and reward him straight away. Introduce a crate for night time sleep and containment. Any accidents in the home should be cleaned up with no fuss from you. The quickest of Googles would have provided this information ![]() Best of luck.
