help my dog wont walk

hi ive got a 13wk old labrador pup! he loves walking aslong as theres at least 2 people with him for instance we can walk him with me my partner and pram, me n someone else my partener and someone else or any other family members aslong as theres 2 or more. but if you try to walk him by yourself he just plants in n wont walk if you give in n turn towards home he runs back? any ideas? please!!!!

Hey,
Is it just one person, say yourself, that has tried to walk him alone or have you tried with your partner alone, family members alone?
Because it might be just one person the the pup doesn't feel secure with.

hi yeah wev tryed with just my partner just me just family members by there self he just wont budge then if another member follows hel set off??? x

Could be an anxiety thing? Wanting to be part of 'the pack'. Might be worth spending time with the pup alone, each person spending some time with him.

hi got him to walk today i had been trying all day but he just kept stopping so i had another go later on but went the opposite way out of the gate n he walked lovely with a real spring in his step? then again later i crossed straight over the road across from home n went left(the way he wouldnt go) and he walked fine? he just doesnt like goin straight left out of the gate 4 some odd reason? strange? so walking better but still just randomly stops i wonder if theres a doggy scent about thats scarying him?

I have to agree with princess seeing your last post, it sounds like anxiety, has the dog been scared when going that way? or is there anything strange that way which could spook a pup out?
