Sad help lead agression

I have not had my dog from day one, she came from a breeder so was used to being in a pack. But since being with me, and I live alone, about two and a half years ago her lead agression has become very bad, worrying, embarassing etc.... I attend dog training every week just in case she just misses other dogs and she is fine there but out in the street on a one to one all hell breaks loose. As she is an Airedale she is very strong and I have been pulled over once. On my dog trainers advice I have recently acquired a Dogmatic which is helpful for me as I feel more in control and it reduces the risk of being pulled over when she is going frantic.

I would so love to walk in normal places with other people but do the usual thing and go where I am almost sure no one else will be.

Any help would be much appreciated as I do so love her and I know this must be my fault as I am now so nervous about meeting other dogs when out and realise this must transmit down the lead. Thanks.

Is she acting dominant or fearful? How does she stand?

Do you have any friends with well behaved dogs? Or someone willing to meet up for walks to help out?

I would start of walking at the same pace, but a good few meters apart, and don't let your dog turn to stare at the other.
Reward her for walking calmly.
If she kicks off, turn in the opposite direction then start over.
Once she is getting the hang of it you can start to decrease the space between the other dog, not forgetting to reward for being calm.

Also try taking her where other dogs are, but stay far enough away from them so that she doesn't kick off. And just start training with her, geting her attention, asking her to sit etc and again gradually decrease the distance between.
