Default Sudden Dog Behaviour Problems.

Hi everyone.

First time poster here. I have a 6 yr old Golden Retreiver who is very kind, soft natured and very obedient (always comes back when called, sits when asked, doesn't pull on the lead) but his behaviour has just changed quite suddenly. I have been away with work quite a bit and my wife has 2 young children. I am now back at home and the dog has
a) started trying to barge through doors as soon as they are opened.
b) started lying in doorways.
c) started nudging us and visitors for attention.

I know that compared to some problems, these are very minor but I would like to know how to put them right. Any ideas anyone?
