Sad Toileting in house

I have trained a rescue dog to go to the loo outside but he is still pooing in the house. He seems jealous of my house mate - he growls sometimes if he comes near me or hugs me. I fed him this morning when sometimes he is fine but I went to use the toilet and when I came out he had pooed on the dining room carpet. He does this on and off and other times he does go to the door to signal he needs a wee, but never a poo. What can I do? What extra training if any, can I do?

Hi,
Is it only when you are in the house? Or when you go out as well?
Also how how is he? And did the rescue centre mention anything about him pooing inside. Also, how long have you had him?

Default That wasn't my intention

Sorry you feel like that, if you'd read it you'd see there is a FREE six day course offered which actually has loads of valuable information.

O.P. What's the current situation please?

Problem is, people occassionally post, forget where they did so and then we never hear again!

if you take your dog out hourly, and when he does a poo outside give him lots of praise and treat as soon as he has done it, it is important to do the praise and treat as soon as he done it so he knows what it is for.
