Act Up New dog owner

Firstly can i say hello all as i'm new to the forum.

Myself and my fiancee have adopted a beautiful 3 yr old terrier cross called Dodge.
He is really well behaved when out on walks although he does pull a bit! He's great with kids and takes an interest in other dogs but doesn't get aggressive.
I'd like advice on how to train him to respond to basic commands (sit, stay, come here, heel etc...) and would be grateful for any advice!

Thanks for reading!

Lots of good books about that will help you well here.

Have you researched classes nearby?
