    Default Pug behaving badly

My 8 year old male pug, is now jumping up and trying to bite my 9 year old bitch retriever on the neck area, usually they are best of friends, sleep eat and play together, but then for no reason at all he will charge for her, even when she laid down, and advice for why he has started doing this, thanks

If this was a sudden onset behaviour a quick vet visit may be in order to rule out any medically related behaviour. Otherwise I would place a lead on the dog in the home top allow quick and safe interruption/control when the behaviour occurs.
