Default Would love my pups to have a snug blanket for winter but......

Having demolished numerous beds over the last 12 months, The only thing that my dog didn't demolish or eat was a fleece blanket, except making a few holes In them and running around the garden with them stuffed in his mouth as a comforter. However over the last couple of months my 12month and 6 month old Springers decided to tear strips off their blankets and eat them, which was becoming quite evident in there brown / red stripy poo!!! I decided to take them off them when they were left on their own, however, now as soon as I give them a blanket back they start tearing strips off them and eating them. How can I stop this as I would like them to have a warm blanket in their bed which is bare at the moment !!
