Question Girls or boys??

Kes is my new girlie and I love her to bits already but out of all the animals i've had in my life time, including horses, she is the only girl i've owned. What do you think the differences are? if of course there are any, I was always told you can just tell boys what to do whereas with the girlies you have to make them believe it's their idea

I wouldn't agree with the latter part of your thread I have had girls and boy dogs, the girls seem to be easier to train but I think is only due to the fact that girls are more accepting to be the less dominant in the pack and will happily let someone else be the leader, whereas males would rather be the leader as they will naturally take the role in the pack as a puppy.
this said I currently have a male dog and I wouldn't change him and he is easier to train rather than a previous dog I had which, she rang rings around me and I will be honest was not able to control her and did have to let her go to a more suitable home.
hope this answers your question.

Thats humans
My experience is that bitches are easier to train as they are not so easily distracted by other doggy smells etc

I have 2 girl dogs, and they are brilliant, I wouldn't change them for the world - I also have to say having had girl dogs I would always choose to have girls. from what I have seen with friends male dogs the girls seem to be more affectionate and are very light hearted and funny

I'm Helen and I'm new, too!

I agree that girl dogs are better...its just dealing with them when they're in heat.

Default Are girls better than boys??

Hi i am new to this site. I have a boy and a girl. Whilst it is true my girl is quite easy to train. My bot you have to be a bit more paciente and persistent. He is also so loyal to me.. The girl has a more ignorant way..

I definitely prefer male dogs! I think there's a hint of cheekiness in a lot of them which I find hilarious.
