Default What breed of Dog

I am thinking of getting another Dog in the new year. My old one, Benji, had to be put to sleep on 16th December a few years ago because of Cancer. I found a lump on his side on 7th September, took him to the vets on the 26th September and the vet confirmed it was the Big C on the 3rd October and refused to operate. However, he remained in good health until the 5th December and only became truly ill from the 13th December, and even then, still could walk about and eat. Looking at his photographs, what breed of Dog would you say Benji was?

Dont Know

Hi,
By looking at the picture I would guess that Benji weighed probably between 30 to 35 lbs and I would say his face definately has a Terrier quality to it. Take a look at the Smooth Fox Terrier, let me know if you think there are some similiarities. The coat marking do look Beagle or Hound in combination with the Smooth Fox Terrier. Hope this helps.
Just my thoughts,
D.
