Default Dogs rub nose on me

Our family has 2 Labrador/Golden Retriever mixes. The mother is about 6 years old and her puppy is now about 7 months old. They are outdoor dogs. I feed them 75% of the time. Whenever I walk out of the house or come home they both come up to me and rub their wet, dirty noses on my leg. I end up having to change my clothes 2 or 3 times a day. They don't jump. They do this to no one else but me. It is driving me crazy. How do I stop this behaviour? HELP

I always get a good sniff-over from my two (especially my border terrier) as I work with dogs and they like to see what/who I've been seeing...they sense unfaithfulness

If you find it rude and too pushy, then encourage them to sit before you so much as interact. This will show them a new way of greeting which is less forceful and much more polite.

HTH,

Nick
