I have a Chihuahua/Schnauzer cross and he keeps chewing up whatever bedding we get him. We'll lay down a fleece, a blanket, a stuffed pillow, anyhing before we go to bed and in the morning he's chewed it to pieces (and judging by his stools after he's also swallowed some of it too.)
We're worried that he'll get impaction through this, and we're also concerned that he's lying on a cold, hard surface as a result. Any suggestion on a type of bedding we can use that is doggie proof? |

Have you tried sacking? potato type sacks are quite coarse, and cheap (so wont cost a fortune while he learns). Benji, my collie cross grew out of the chewing phase after a couple of months (and several pounds worth of damage!) good luck!

Having many dogs, I have had this problem time and time again.
When I started showing my dogs I was introduced to this product called Vet Bedding, its marvelous. If you Google Vet Bedding you'll find tons of info about it. Good Luck Alan |

How old is dog. Does it do it during the day when left? If so, you may be looking at separation anxiety. Please reply. Nick
