Default new to the forum..

Hi all, new to the forum ive been on a few times as a visitor and decided to join.. we have a cross bread dog, we think a lab/whippet cross a really nice dog that we rescued a year ago he is now about 20 months old, the only real issue we have with him is that when we got him he seemed to be really nervous around traffic when walking on the lead, he overcame this but has recently gone back to his old habit, so much so that he'll stop and sit down and refuse to move, has anyone got any suggetions about how to deal with this.....

Welcome!

Traffic issues are generally pretty easy to deal with (considering they're issues!) so don't panic.

Find a fairly quiet road, and take along some nice treats...Instead of going for a walk, make it a training session. Just stand by the road, and feed him a treat when a car goes passed. Then you can start walking, so that he's moving as cars go passed. And then you can try a busier road.

If you've tried this and had no success, let me know. Good luck!
