Default another newbie.

Yep, I've just joined this forum.

I am very very fond of border collies, we (wife and me) are on our 2nd collie, the first one died about 8 years ago, he was a lovely dog who gave us no trouble in any way.

As I posted in a thread a few minutes ago, we got our second in January past when it is thought she was 6 months old, she was abused by the scum who had her. In the rescue kennels where we got her she was very timid, that was also the case with us for a few weeks untill she got to know and was relaxed with us, that she also trusted us.

she does not want to be alone, she wants either myself or my wife with her, that we put down to the abuse, we are not in any way pressuring her to be on her own.

In too many cases, its not the dogs that should be put down but the so called owners.

this is a very nice forum.
