Default Hello

Hi everyone
My name is Cath and I have two beautiful dogs , Bonnie a black GSD who is now nearly 9 and her son Patch, we rescued Bonnie in September 2010 - she was just 20kg and a very unhappy girl. Just used for a puupy factory and had never been in the outside world much. She was ' in season' we were told when we got her but only seemed to be for two days or so and two months after we had her she had 4 puppies which was a huge suprise to us - and the vets! We of course kept one and he is a GSDx Golden Retriever.
Our problem is that although they are great with other dogs in training class, vets etc, if we have them on the lead when we are walking they go ballistic, barking and pulling to the extent that they pulled me over the other day! We use halti's on them and try to take them out seperately but it isn't ideal. Anyone got any suggestions please.? Toys , treats and distractions just don't work when they are in that state. Turning round isn't always an option either . We aretaking them to a Dog Listener near Doncaster this weekend so I'mhoping that will help.
Cath
