At Wits End help... puppy eating own mess

hi, i have a 9 week old german shep/husky, he is good , he is a fast learner and seems to be very easy to train, however, in the night he is messing and eating it, is this normal? i know it is rather foul so how do i stop this? i thought i may be because he is hungry however my vets said i am feeding him the right amount at the right times and should not feed him any more, im really at a lose as what to do please any advise is grat

Hi Char,
This is not uncommon.
Things will improve as he gets older and you have more control over when and where he goes. In the meantime just try and get to it before he does.
