After a long recovery from an operation last year,I would like to work part time again, but since I last worked we have taken on a puppy from a rescue centre, she is about 14wks old. If I started working mornings ie 4hrs, is that ok to leave a lively pup? She has a crate that she is happy to sleep in at night.

Always subjective this, as ideally the pup would not be left at all at this age.
However, if crated and only 4 hours each day then possibly yes....at a push. If you could get someone to drop in for 45 mins and break it up halfway with a cleaning of any beddin, a small meal, toilet break and play then all the better. A crate is a must for this situation so do use it. Good luck...congrats on the puppy ![]() Nick
