Default Puppy not eating and sleeping alot.

My yorkshire terrier puppy is 4 months old.
He's not eating much at all, nibbles here and there. I gave him some puupy milk yesterday and he wolfed it down. He was sick about 10 mins after the milk.

He was active this morning for a while but hasn't eaten anything all day. He went out earlier but wanted to come back in as soon as he was out.
He has only passed urine once today. He has slept for most of the day.

Help
I have booked him in to see the vet this evening. Can i do anything till then?

I dont know what to suggest im afraid. I wouldn't worry much about him not urinating if he's not drinking either.

Puppies can be off their food for around a day and this is perfectly normal in most cases, if it goes on much longer then you should seek advice and contacting your vet just to be sure is a great idea.

Also, if your pup was used to another type of food before you had him then he might just be a picky eater and not want to eat anything but what he had before. In this case you should try and slowly change the food type to get him used to another because puppy stomachs can be fragile and changes may cause diarrhea and vomiting.

If it hasn't been too long then dont get yourself too worried, puppies are known to be off their food now and again.

He might not be eating due to the food being difficult to eat, you could try mixing it up with a little water to soften it and make it easier for him to munch down.worth a try. good luck!

The food is Purina Veterinary Diet Canine/Feline CN (Convalescence)

I just have to get him back on to normal food now. I'm suposed to mix it tomorrow. I'm not sure if its going to work and don't know how long he can eat that purina food for. He could proberly eat it for a while, but its not cheap.

Its at the cheapest 95p a can and thats only a small can like a tuna can size. Its 2 cans a day for a pup the size of Oscar.
