Default Toilet Training

Morning Everyone. This is my first post on the forum and it concerns the toilet training of my 23 week old puppy, Alfred, who is a french bulldog.

We have a crate for him which he has gone in ever since we had him without any problems. It is quite big though and his bedding takes up about half of it and then we have a towel on the other half.

We have always got up once during the night with him to let him out as we realise his bladder is not big enough to go 8 hours yet. However, recently we're having to get up with him about 3 times. We've tried to ignore him but then we've gone down to find he's been to the toilet on his towel.

His last feed is at 6pm and he doesn't have any water after 8pm. We've found he does seem to sleep from about 7.30pm onwards but on the occasions we have tried to keep him awake, it hasn't made any difference. He goes out for the last time at 9:30pm.

Any advice anyone can give would be much appreciated!

Thank you!
