My 8 week old puppy died! One week after we bought her!

I am wanting people opinions and advice. My partner and i bought a 7week old king charles spaniel puppy last week. She was gorgeous, a great wee puppy and she settled in really well. 9 days after we got her, her health rapidly deteriated. We took her to the vets on sunday and they kept her over night however she died during the night. We are gutted. We have contacted the lady we bought her from and she has been very angry, rude and unkind to us. We are a young family and completly gutted by the whole experience. The vet said he doesnt know exactly what was wrong but it is something to do with her blood levels or she wasnt producing blood. and she was probably born with it. The breeder told us she was vet checked. We saw both parents and the dogs were KC reg but she said she would post us the papers when she recieved them (is this normal practise?) The puppy had not had any injections. Any advice would be greatly appriciated! The breeder has even acused us of animal creutly! The way she has reacted is making us think she knew the pup was ill.
