first night away from mum

Hi new pup - Lola 9 week border collie, first night away from its mum , WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT and WHAT SHOULD WE DO ??
We have a nice good quality cage - weve put her a blanket and basket in there along with food and water -
1/ Should it go in the cage for all its naps and sleeps throughout the day, or just its major night time sleeps?
2/Tonight we are expecting it to cry and yelp - do we just ignore it ?
3/ How old before they stop using the cage or is it permanant ?
4/ In the morning I imagine it,ll be up early - Do I get up when the dog gets up from now on ?
5/ Do you moisten dry food.
6/what will its expected ADULT weight be
7/ How do you work out how much food to pour into its bowl ? Dry food.
