Default 6 month old goldie

Hi can anyone please tell me why our pup is good as gold in the room with me.But if a member of the family come in she is jumping and going mad.If I get up and leave the room she is carm straight away.It only happens with me.Thank you Teresa

Ask others to ignore her when they enter the room. Wait until she has calmed down (place her on a lead to prevent jumping up at people). Once calm enough to have a polite greeting, ask her to sit and then let the person greet her as you control her with the lead.

This way she will learn that calm behaviour is conducive to the greeting...not being excessive.
