Default 10 week old puppy!!!

Hello am new to this puppy thing, we have a LaPom whom is very cute, we are not suffering at night with her as she has settled quite well (x fingers). She is due for her 2nd lot of injections this week and then 1 more week until she can meet the wide world on her level. The problems we have with her (and are trying to crack) are, her nipping and barking!!!, I have printed loads of stuff of the internet about it and we are trying very had to keep to it, also when we have to leave her (to go to work), she cry's and whines, but eventually settles when she knows we are not around, and she has the radio on for company. She has her sleeping bed in her crate in the kitchen, and the door is not closed so she has access, her food and water are removed during the night, but are there freely during the day. She has puppy pads near the door and also is going outside to do her business. She has lots of energy to burn off so we try to playing games with her and do training to tire her out. Can anyone give me any idea's/advice for the nipping and barking thing please
