History
The Mudi came into existence by separating it from the Puli and the Pumi in the 1930s. This breed is very versatile, and they appear to be the result of panel breading. It is believed that this breed is about 100 years old, and has its origin in Hungary. These dogs are very rare, even in Hungary.
Characteristics
Mudis are very attentive and lively dogs. These dogs are very courageous dogs, and they love to bark. This is a breed that also learns very eagerly, and they are also very clever. The Mudi also has sober habits and a very strong instinct of protecting its owners and families. The Mudi likes to bond with one specific person in the family.
Temperament
Mudis are very rare dogs is truly a rare dog, but the few owners that do have them find them unrivalled. They have a long list of talents, and they have a very good nature. This is a highly intelligent breed of dogs, and they can learn at the same speed as border collies - in some cases even faster. The Mudi is without fear, and they are very brave and powerful. Care
