The coats of the Welsh springer spaniel should be brushed two or three times a week in order to keep it looking good. The hair around their bottoms should also be kept short in order to promote good hygiene. Their ears should also be checked to make sure they are dry and clean, and in return reduce the chances for infection. The hair between their toes should also be trimmed from time to time. The Welsh springer spaniel is a medium shedding dog, and will therefore not work well with allergy sufferers. For more detailed info, take a look at the Welsh Springer Spaniel Grooming page.
